About Culham
Culham is an endowed educational charity formed out of the closure in 1980 of a Church of England teacher training college. It is spearheading the Centre’s development on behalf of the Religious Education Council of England and Wales.
Culham’s own work has focused recently on the development of web-based resources for supporting teaching and learning in RE. Its RE portal site REonline was recently described in the Guardian (12.12.06) as "surely one of the best subject-centred web support networks to be found in any curriculum area.” Through this site, the Centre’s work and activities will be linked to schools throughout the country.
