| A series of four short reflections exploring the wonder of the universe that we live in. Suitable for class based assemblies of 5 -10 minute duration with very little preparation required. Each day is a self contained PowerPoint presentation with pictures and some words that moves automatically through the sequence. The final slides on each day are to stimulate thought and, time permitting, some discussion. Background music is not essential, but e.g. 'The Heavens are Telling' from Haydn's Creation, or The Planets by Holst, could be used along with the presentations. Day Two: The Beginning Going back to the beginning of time and exploring the creation story. Day Three: The Family Standing with Abram as he is promised a family as numerous as the stars in the sky. Day Four: The Journey Walking with the wise men as they follow the star and gazing at the Christ child, the Bright Morning Star. |
