Radio 2 has supported and run a competition for Choirgirls for over ten years, but this year the competition is open to boys and girls. The final is to be held and recorded at St Martin in the Fields, London.

Features:A study of meditation, music and silence. How best can we reach that state of relaxed awareness needed to derive maximum benefit from meditation? Harvey Gillman brings his own Quaker background to reflect on how we can all be enriched by giving ourselves time and space. Also features Esther de Waal - an authority on Benedictine and Celtic spirituality, Buddhists talking about the importance of contemplation and Cardinal Basil Hume reflecting on the importance of us all having a spritual life.
