Using Resources

Both in the Watch pupil series and the INSET video, teachers and children use the resources that are in their local area.

Many aspects of teaching Christianity can be enhanced by using resources that are easily available. The list below gives you some ideas about where you might start.

- The local church or church groups
- Teachers and non-teaching staff in school who attend a local church
- School governors who are linked to local churches
- Local Christian bookshop
- Local Christian organisations who support schools e.g. Scripture Union, Youth for Christ
- Resource catalogues for RE materials e.g artefacts, books, posters
- Websites with search engines for RE e.g. External link followswww.theresite.org.uk
