A JOURNEY WITH TJ / BARNABY BEAR
Prepare copies of the living graph and TJ pictures (downloadable from this site). You can also use Barnaby Bear or your own equivalent if appropriate and you have the right pictures.
- Put the class into pairs or groups of four, as seen in the video.
- Give each group a set of pictures of TJ’s visit to the church.
- Ask them to sequence the pictures and match them up with captions.
- Model the graph of TJ’s feelings using an interactive whiteboard or large copy of the living graph.
- Ask the children to plot TJ’s feelings during the journey.
