Taking Part 1

- The visit to the church helps to develop children’s communication and listening skills.

Choices 2

- Children can convey their likes and dislikes about the visit.
- They can create a code of conduct for the visit.

People who Help Us 4

- Talking to the priest/minister/member of the clergy or other member of the church about his/her work. How does it, and the church, help the local community?

Living in a Diverse World 5

- Visits are encouraged in this unit. Try to visit different places of worship and/or invite community leaders or members of faith communities into school.
- Look at similarities between the church and the school.
