Introduction.
Welcome to our latest website, full of ideas for teaching RE at Key Stage One. It is part of a very extensive resource on Christianity, the WATCH series first broadcast in March 2003, relating particularly to the teacher programme.
But this site is not just about Christian churches. The work in it can be adapted to any place of worship, of any faith, and will also help you develop the whole of your RE primary school syllabus. Most of the site can be downloaded in PDF documents so that you can adapt it to suit your own needs.
Many people have been involved in the production of the television series and this website. Thanks to them all, we can provide many ideas and resources to get you started. The resource will be most effective, though, if we have feedback from you. Please send us your views and ideas for improvement. You might like to send us examples of effective activities done by your school which can be added to the site with a credit to you.
The site will be continuously updated with new material, including an interactive church feature, in the weeks following the the first broadcast of the teacher programme on 9th May 2003, so please visit us again soon.
